Urinary tract infections or UTIs are fairly common. Between the ages of 20 and 59 approximately 2-4% of women will have at least one UTI a year. Unfortunately, recurrent UTIS are also common. Before menopause up to 1/3 of women who have a UTI will have a second one within 12 months.

Menopause has a big impact the risk of UTIs and also on recurrent UTIs.…
