I have read with great interest your post on magnesium since my daughter, mother if 2 young children, recently mentioned to me that she believes everybody is magnesium deficient because industrial food is depleted of this element. Over that, she uses a magnesium cream to massage the feet of her 3 year old to help her sleep. Now... I was skeptical of the whole story but what about the statement that Mg would be absorbed through the skin in concentrations sufficient to impact the sleep process?
