I’ve never had a UTI in my life and am a lifetime back to front wiper and was told ad nauseam this would cause UTIs but never believed the scary adults in my life aka my mother.
What about wiping side-to-side, which is easy to do. Here is my routine: first, a major cleanup wipe, then a detail wipe, and last, put a dot of lotion on some tissue & apply.
Very useful article! I used to suffer from chronic, resistant yeast infections. Awful. I was advised at the time to never wipe back-to-front as that might have been the cause. Not sure.
