What a fabulous honor to have a named Fluevog! I remember my first Fluevogs. I was in Seattle attending a bioethics conference. I was on my way to the Mothership Nordstrom, when I walked past a small shoe store with the most extraordinary shoes! It was the Fluevog store. I never made it to Nordstrom. I was in shoe heaven. It’s been a while since I bought my last pair, but I will need to get these (plus the perfect heel height). Congratulations and happy birthday!

I’m sincerely hoping they make these in a 12, as not all ‘Vogs go that high – though if they don’t that’s a handy way to save me from myself.
For those who have tried a pair or a few and have not found a fit, please reach out to a Fluevogologist for advice if you are truly interested. There are many different styles and all have different fits. Some are now going up to 15s!
I spent too many years thinking I was relegated to only the “mens” shoes with my size 12, wide, high instep feet and extremely wide calves. I now have a growing collection as I try to make up for the shoes that got away since the 90’s.
I’m not an employee or otherwise affiliated, just a fan (or Fluezie in the parlance) who thinks anyone who wants them should get to have the fun shoes.
