Question about bidets, with the popularization of bidet attachments for toilets what are you thoughts on this. I know that if I splashed water on my face everytime I went to the washroom it would dry out my skin. Can the use of water to clean up after urinating/defecating rather than toilet paper cause an upset in the biome of the urogenital area?

There are now brands that claim their products balance the pH and bacteria of the vagina, and are mean to be used internally. Good Clean Love (https://goodcleanlove.com/) is one such brand. They make a lot of medical claims for their products and market an internal gel + probiotics for the vagina. Do you have any thoughts on their products? Are there any products out there doing it right? Many of these newer brands claim the rest are bad (Vagisil, Summer's Eve, etc) but claim their own products are actually good. It seems tricky! There is definitely a trend of these doctor/scientist-backed products but it's so hard to tell if they are valid. Thanks for a great article + looking forward to more!

I've been asked about this product three times in the comments, so that will be the subject of an upcoming Ask Dr. Jen column!

I backpack for several days and bring baby wipes to clean my (exterior) genitals at night. Is there a better way to clean when out in the wilderness?

This post should have a gazillion hearts on it.

Also, you really wiped the floor with Vagisil here! 😆 (uh, no pun *intended*.)
