Congratulations on the N of 1! A wonderful outcome; hope more cases provide supporting data.

I had COVID last week with the rest of my family. A family member in a nursing home…. We ALL got Paxlovid. They are prescribing it for everybody.

Most of us took a full five days to get better. But we all did with no complications. Of course, we are all vaxxed and boosted. I got my second booster the day before I tested positive—on the recommendation of my doctor, who thought it might help to fight COVID.

Yes, tastes horrible and makes your throat taste horrible every day, but it’s a small price to pay.

Hooray for a healthy kid! I just finished my course of Paxlovid. Spouse is on day three. Not quite as dramatic a story but it really has seemed to help. I still tested positive on a rapid test yesterday, only negative today after my last dose. Spouse is still testing positive. Both vaxxed and boosted. Glad to have a treatment option- even with mild cases, we were all miserable.

Is he the son you had to take to St. Thomas's to have his eye flushed?
