You would think that checking the medical expert you have on your show is currently registered and has no charges against their registration is Research 101. Especially in this climate where high profile conspiracy theorists and other quacks have the public's trust in evidence based science and medicine at an all time low. Research 102 is if a medical doctor is touted and promoted by a variety of 'wellness experts', who believe the body can heal itself (as long as you pay them a lot for their service and advice) and if you don't heal then YOU haven't done the right thing, maybe give them a wide berth.
