Thank you for provoking my thoughts. It is both anthropologically interesting and personally infuriating that it is men who are historically and currently responsible for the devastation caused by countless wars, while also rapaciously bringing humanity ever and ever closer to global environmental disaster. And yet it is also men who still think they should be in charge of the globe. I do wonder whether underneath this macho façade they are doing there best to conceal and outrace the truth: that women are becoming so self-sufficient that they can survive quite well without them? Women are holding their own in higher education, the top paying professions, the military and police, and increasingly in government and politics. When women need protection they prefer it be provided by other women, especially because it is men who are the greatest source of danger. Of course, men are still necessary to supply half the DNA to create new humans and maybe this is why it is men insisting that women should have no choice in getting pregnant or in staying pregnant. Pregnancy and motherhood are the times when women can be vulnerable and are easier to handle and manipulate..
How much of Project 2025 is a reaction to women liberating themselves? Just as increasingly overt racism is a reaction to improved civil rights and the growing number of non-whites moving into the middle class and politics. A person who is confident of their abilities and value does not need to beat down others. It was a joke. Apparently the Forbes writer fell for the spoof. That's what the gamer community is saying, anyway. 😁
